My journey has endured many twists and turns. Including unexpected detours — and brain cancer. But travel, food and photography have been a constant in my life.
Artist Statement:
I became more fascinated by color and contrast after I went blind briefly due to brain cancer. Color was the first element that I saw when I regained my sight.
Capturing colors and contrasts is my goal now. Because colors set the tone and mood of the photograph it’s more important than textures and patterns, and often lines.
I've become more drawn to Nature, to express my feelings of the power -- or its ability to calm minds and souls.
